Start by doing a quick “scan” of the system to see if there are errors. If you don’t see anything wrong there, the only option left is to fix the problem on your own.

Go into the operating system and look for a file called the registry. This is the heart of the computer. The registry stores all the settings that have been made for your computer. Whenever you change anything on your computer, the registry needs to be re-organized.

Go to the registry with the path you just found and you will find the various sections of the registry in the windows system.

Scanning is the next step. As you have already done, do a quick “scan” to see if there are any errors or problems in the registry. The next step is to use a registry cleaner program.

Once you have found a registry cleaner program you trust and that you have installed on your computer, you can begin the repair process. Open the program and run the scan. Follow the directions and it will go through the registry and clean it up as well as repair any errors.

  • At this point, you can start the repair process. Repair the registry.
  • If there are more problems that need to be fixed, go back and finish the process and repeat until the repair is complete.
  • During the repair process the system will show you where the errors are.
  • Just delete them one at a time until the whole thing is finished
